The paint line conceptualized and launched for the Better Homes & Gardens™ brand was carefully thought out by various brand/agency/manufacture stakeholders. The finished packaging design, displays and collateral balances the brand's unique identity and the specific information needed to aid the consumer when making a purchase. A curated tintable color palette and range of pre-tinted products give a wide of options that coordinate with trending decor without overwhelming the DIYer. To aide in the consumer in shopping without the help of an associate, the Better Homes & Gardens™ labels feature room types most appropriate for each sheen. This approach was innovative within the category and especially helpful for the Walmart consumer since associates called to help at the paint counter may not have background in paint.
